The two welcome signs in Perdido Key, welcoming you to Florida at the Flora-Bama and welcoming you to the island after crossing the Theo Baars bridge, is often photographed and admired by locals and visitors. The Welcome signs were put into place in 2014 by the Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce and are still maintained today. Maintenance needed include landscaping, lighting, and even the proper positioning of the American Flag standing behind the sign.
